Fitness

  • We no longer run a Fitness Squad.
  • All of our squads are selected through the trials process based on minimum performance standards.
  • If you've met the minimum performance standards but capacity is reached we operate a waiting list and will look for opportunities to keep you involved if possible
  • If you don't make the minimum standards we suggest you join the swimming, cycling or running club of your University to work on your areas of weakness and re-trial at the next available opportunity
  • If you have paid a membership fee to single discipline clubs and are subsequently selected onto the triathlon programmes then you won't be charged any additional fees.
  • If you just wish to race for the University in BUCS events such as the Duathlon, Biathlon, Sprint and Standard triathlons then you can pay the club membership fees and then you are fine to take part.
  • You would also be added to the club facebook group, be able to buy team kit, attend socials and vote at the AGM
  • If you are a member of a single discipline club and want to compete for your University in the BUCS Duathlon, Biathlon, Sprint or Standard triathlons then contact the Triathlon club captain for your University to discuss options.
